Reported by Deadline, the rapper known for hits like “Tunnel Vision” was arrested on trespassing charges in Florida on Saturday, January 1. Broward County police detained him just after 1:30 AM near the 1600 block of Northwest 10th Drive in Golden Acres, the very neighborhood where Kodak grew up. The reason for his detention remains unclear, as neither the Broward County Sheriff’s Office nor his representatives have provided details about the incident.

However, the Sun Sentinel confirmed on Monday, January 3, that the sound of gunfire led local deputies to the area. While reports did not indicate Kodak discharging a weapon, he was allegedly banned from the complex, leading to his arrest. Subsequently, he was taken to Broward Main Jail, where he posted bail and was released.

This recent incident adds to Kodak’s extensive legal history. In 2019, he was sentenced to three years in federal prison after pleading guilty to weapons charges related to an arrest just before a concert in May of that year. Additionally, he admitted to providing false information on federal documents to purchase firearms from a Miami-based gun shop on multiple occasions.

SLOBE https://www.lemonlyrics.com/elementor-140/ https://www.lemonlyrics.com/elementor-140/#comments Wed, 10 Aug 2022 22:15:50 +0000 https://www.lemonlyrics.com/?p=140 “Southeast” exudes a devilishly nocturnal atmosphere in its sound, amplified by the tragic reality that its creator met his untimely demise just two months after its release. The album seamlessly fits into the haunting realm of Memphis rap or black metal, captivating listeners with its unsettling nature. Each instrumental, such as “Muscle” with its subtle bass hits and haunting vocal samples, and the eerie sounds of “Ricky,” contributes to an overall sense of dread and hopelessness, immersing the audience in the most haunted corners of Stockton, CA, particularly the Nightingale block from which Slo-Be hails. Slo-Be’s delivery, characterized by a slithering, whisper-flow and impactful verses, masterfully paints a picture of these haunted landscapes.

The track “Track Stars” exemplifies Slo-Be’s prowess, making listeners feel like they are in the midst of a chilling scenario. Whether intentional or not, Slo-Be emerges as a twisted, devilish orator reminiscent of some of hip-hop’s most demented creators. Building upon Drakeo’s claustrophobic and nihilistic style, Slo-Be carves his own path, showcasing a unique voice that Norcal’s rap scene needed, as affirmed by his tragic passing. “Southeast” stands out as one of the most vital and replayable Norcal releases, a must-listen for fans of Drakeo the Ruler, Bris, or those immersed in the current “nervous music” trend in the western scene. Despite its recent debut, the album has swiftly become an essential piece for enthusiasts of the aforementioned genre.
