fter the successful release of a series of running graphic crewneck tees in December, BLACK COMME des GARÇONS and Nike are once again collaborating, this time resurrecting the 1980s Nike Eagle from the archives in the form of a premium all-black sneaker. The Nike Eagle, originally introduced in 1980 as Nike’s most lightweight silhouette at 5.1 ounces, has been reimagined for this release with a black leather base, complemented by smooth suede overlays and a distinctive CDG-branded heel tab. The iconic white Nike tags are prominently displayed on the nylon tongue, while co-branding text in white is featured on the insoles. The collaborative sneakers are finalized with a slim rubber sole unit. Scheduled for release on March 18th, these exclusive pairs will be available at Dover Street Market and CDG stores in Japan, priced at ¥28,600 JPY ($243 USD).
